Indie Improv Takeover celebrates the creativity and talent of Cincinnati's independent improv community with an evening of completely unscripted comedy at Clifton Comedy Theatre. Headlining the show is Holy Cannoli, the reigning Queen City Cup champions. After battling through a season of unpredictable competition, they earned their title and survived the infamous DAMN Challenge, performing continuously for 24 hours with no advance notice of what was coming next. Also taking the stage is Meeple Syrup, an all-women improv team created by Joyride Comedy. Known for their sharp ensemble work and playful chemistry, Meeple Syrup delivers smart, character-driven long-form improv that's as inventive as it is hilarious. Two outstanding indie teams.
